|Zelisney, William Allen, died September 16, 1998 at age 83. He died in Victoria, BC, of kidney failure. William worked as pit boss in Cassiar's mine in 1963-64. He was active in Lion's Club and predeceased by his wife Eleanor in 1992. Survived by daughter Doreen Eleanor Zelisney.|

Zimmerman,Walter passed October 30, 2015 following complications from stroke. Walter lived in Cassiar 1958-1961. He was a Mill Mechanic and lived next door to Karl Voss. He leaves to morn his wife Elsie.
|Zurbriggen, Vince passed August 2015 in Invermere, BC. Vince worked in Cassiar first for Bill Ratrray and then joined CAC in Winter 1970 to August 1971.He worked in the machine shop, helped install a additional Ruston powerplant, installed pollution control equipment in the mill, bagged for a bit, and ended up toolman in the carpenter shop. Herb Pichler got that job when I left. My Nickname amongst the Germans and Swiss was Ruebenzahl. Lothar Tischler was my boss in the Carpenter shop.|
