Here are the details of her invitation.

2012 is the 20 year anniversary of the shutdown of Cassiar, BC. What better time to celebrate the town and its people than to get together for one great party at the beach. A reunion is being planned for former residents of our little northern town. It is being held in Penticton, BC. We need to have some definite numbers by December 31, 2011 in order to get some idea of what kind of RV Park to book. There are a few parks of various sizes. I also need to know who will be needing accommodation at hotels and motels so I can begin a list. You will have to book your own rooms as you will probably need a credit card. The week of Ironman Triathlon is out because there won't be a room in town, but the other weekends might be good... perhaps during Peachfest so there is a fair-like atmosphere. Please also tell all of the former residents that you can think of and ask them to pass it along. We want this to be an enormous reunion and I will be asking you to give me input on ideas along the way. This is your reunion so please feel free to pitch in your ideas. I was thinking we would stay at the Skaha Lake end of town so maybe google it and tell me what you think... CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!! *<:o)~
