Cassiar's Tramlines

Cassiar's first tramline was designed and built by BRECO in England - typical of
those used in coal mines. It was rated at 100 tons per hour.

Cassiar's second tramline was designed by Interstate Equipment of Pittsburg, PA, USA. Some parts were made in USA. The towers were made in Vancouver, BC. The drive wheel was made by Bertram Hoist MF in Ontario.  Rated at 300 tons per hour at 600 feet per minute. Total length 15,300 feet.
